Have you ever said that to yourself? Have you ever said that to yourself and then thought ‘what in the world was I thinking?’ I recently saw these felt playhouses on Etsy and thought they would make great Christmas gifts for the little boys in the family. I called and asked my sisters if they wanted to make them together. They should have told me I was CRAZY, but instead they agreed.
It has been difficult to coordinate all of our schedules, but we were all able to work on them earlier this week and we made a lot of progress! I can really appreciate all of the work that is put into these playhouses! For one, it is a lot of fabric to work with. We made the side panels first and then sewed everything together.
This is the giant mass of fabric with the roof attached.
Now that we have two fully done, I am happy that we stuck with it and that my sisters didn’t tell me I was crazy. I will be saying ‘I can make that’ less and supporting other handcrafters more 😉
