The Pharaoh National was held in Eugene this year and the rain moved on just in time for Monday to be a beautiful day!
There were 33 dogs entered and they were ALL very keen.
I love the smile on this dog’s face. They all had a great time.
Here are a few of my favorite pictures.
Look at how they are using their tail’s as rudders to turn the corner.
There was also puppies there. This was the first time I had seen Pharaoh puppies and they are very interesting looking.
This little girl was thoroughly enjoying them – too cute!

Wow, I’ve never heard/seen of the Pharaoh breed before, they are indeed interesting!
They remind me of aardvarks!
The Pharoah Hounds are so sleek and beautiful. I think they are the most beautiful as they run.Pure speed and grace! They remind me very much of our Vizsla, he just delights in bounding gracefully over vast areas of open land and never seems to tire. It is a delight for me to just watch him, and I can tell watching the Pharoah hounds would make me feel the same. So, when are you and yours bringing one of these hounds into your family?
Now that is funny Michelle – aardvarks 🙂 They do look like them!
They do look a lot like Vizsla’s! No Pharaoh hound for us 😉 a bit too intense for me.
