In the last year or so, I have learned how to…
Spin…
Knit…
Needle Felt…
and most recently, Wet Felt…
and I found out that I LOVE felting, I think it is the instant gratification that it provides. With the other projects it takes a while to see the end product. While you are felting, you can see it right away. This also makes it the perfect project for those of us that tend to procrastinate and work well under pressure 🙂 The most recent felting project was a ringbearer’s pillow for my sister’s wedding.
Nothing like starting a project the day before the bridal shower!
Now, the real question is, “Will you be ATTENDING the bridal shower?”
(See answer number 5 you gave a few weeks ago on a previous post):
5. I would rather muck sheep pens all day long in the freezing cold rain than go to a bridal shower, baby shower, or any other kind of shower.
Ah, good question! I was heavily guilted into going. My mom wrote the invitation and it said that 3 generations were giving the shower, unfortunately my youngest sister wasn’t going, so I was the 3rd generation. My awesome sister gave me the option of WHAT shower to go to, so I only had to go to one 🙂 I’m happy to say that I lived through it! Lucky me, I got to muck sheep pens and go to the shower all in the same day – I know you are all jealous!
Wow you’ve been busy! I learned how to knit too but want to learn how to spin. I still need to get my bags of wool processed. *blush*
Talk about procrastination!
