We went to the dog show that’s in town over the weekend to meet a couple people and catch up with others that I haven’t seen in a long time. We had a great time! This was the first ‘true’ dog show that I have taken Theron to. He has been to lure coursing, agility, and herding and he wanted to know what type of racing or jumping the dogs were going to do 😉 He had fun looking at all the different breeds of dogs and wanted to know what each one was. He made a lot of new friends.
This adorable Cardigan puppy is Rio. Theron was very popular with his baggy full of cheese crackers 🙂
This is JR, a super outgoing Papillon that was getting ready for the Junior’s ring.
I have always liked Clumber Spaniels and
Cavalier King Charles Spaniels.
This girl is a Husky named Rose. The two of them hit it off immediately and were wrestling in the aisleway.
Such a pretty girl with beautiful blue eyes.
These pretty girls are Rhodesian Ridgebacks – Zuri and Roxy. He really liked the ridges on their backs.
Caitlynn is an old friend that he hasn’t seen in awhile. She is such a sweetie.
We got new leashes for all of the dogs and Theron picked out a new toy for Darby. They played fetch for a long time when we got home. Happy boys!
What fun for you both! In picking people to pass on the Kreativ Blogger award to, I thought of you. Come on over to pick it up.
Such a great kid!
Looks like you had a great time!! Rio is adorable–and isn’t it funny that I’ve always like Clumber spaniels too? I always thought they kind of looked like small Newfoundlands.
What fun. I love dogs, have 6 myself, and a dog show is a great chance to meet other dog lovers and grow up new dog lovers…like Theron. He is such a cutie pie and so much fun! Isn’t it wonderful to have such an enthusiastic , kind, interesting little boy to accompany you and share the things you love?
Yes, it is wonderful to have a little buddy to go with me and enjoy just as much if not more!
I wanted to go to this show, but I couldn’t make it. Looks like you guys had a lot of fun! Thanks for sharing the pictures 🙂
