We usually visit one of the many Christmas tree farms in the area to find a Christmas tree, but this year we purchased a tree permit and headed to the mountains. We were really searching for some snow too.
We were not disappointed!
This kid is CRAZY in the snow!!! He is not falling in this picture – he is JUMPING!!! Geronimo 🙂
He climbed up…
and slid down so many times I lost count.
I think Deuce enjoyed it just as much as he did!
She was also more than willing to help 🙂
She was such a good girl – never straying very far from us and always coming when called.
We finally started looking for a tree. I thought this one was awfully cute, but the boys didn’t agree.
By the time we found our tree he had to have a little help up the hill. I never could make it up. The snow had a nice layer of ice underneath it and a layer over it. You would crack through and sink into the snow and then slip on the ice underneath. We did a lot of walking because driving was a little interesting. I am very thankful that my husband has a cool head while driving on slick snow on a hillside.
Here is our tree – a noble fir. Oregon forests are full of so many choices!
He would love it if we had snow year round 🙂 I’m glad we found some snow for him and a Christmas tree for our house.
I think Theron is a Mountain Man in the making! And Deuce….Oh My!! Makes me miss my chocolate lab for about a minute….and then I remember…I am a border collie girl! 🙂
That’s a GORGEOUS tree! It’s absolutely perfect!! Glad you all had a good time in the snow.
What a perfect tree!!! Theron and I should get together…cause I act just like he does when it snows….heheheheheh 🙂
