Somehow overnight, my sheep went from looking kind of pregnant to looking VERY pregnant! Which made me realize that lambing is going to be here very soon. The first due date is January 24th, but with how time is flying these days it might as well be next week 🙂
Poor Marloe always looks pregnant. She tends to have big lambs.
Amber, on the other hand, keeps her girly figure all through pregnancy. She usually twins, but barely looks pregnant.
Ellie is one I will be keeping my eye on. She is pretty big for not being due until February 4th.
She is already swaying to and fro!
Time to order supplies and get prepared.
Your sheep do look like they need you to stay home to keep an eye on them. I have not had my sheep sheared yet , but I know they should start lambing about the time yours do. I am beginning to get excited about lambing time. Funny though, the ones that seem the most ready to lamb usually are among the last. I think think they plan this so as to get that much more attention and feed…whilst the ewes that are really ready to lamb just go hide and do it.
