A few weeks ago, my friend Lora at Rocking Dog Ranch asked the question ‘Why do you Blog?’. This got me thinking and the blogpost has been rolling around in my head, just waiting for the right time . Today, the first day of the New Year, seems a very fitting time to reflect on this past year and remember why I blog.
I blog to remember the joy and to keep a journal of the good memories. Life can get drug down by the negative and it seems like it is human nature to remember the bad memories first. So, even though life is not always Rosy, you will not be reading about it here. This is my place for all of the good memories.
‘May you never forget what is worth remembering, nor ever remember what is best forgotten.’ Irish Blessing
We have so much to be thankful for and many wonderful memories from this last year, here are just a few…
Thank you for sharing this journey with us!
This is going to be my quote for 2011 –
‘One day at a time – this is enough. Do not look back and grieve over the past for it is gone; and do not be troubled about the future, for it has not yet come. Live in the present, and make it so beautiful it will be worth remembering.’
Wishing you a happy, joyous, wonderful, brilliant, fabulous, and delightful 2011!

Thank you for your help today, if you didn’t blog I wouldn’t have known to ask for your help.
Wonderful words and wisdom. I think you summed up my exact answer as to why I blog. You nailed it and my friend had asked me that too but I didn’t know exactly how to answer. You just did it for me 🙂
Amen sister, Amen!
