  1. You did well! I’ve seen that plant on the W side of Oregon…none here on the desert side…don’t know what it is though.

  2. Is it in the mint family? The best way to tell is if it’s stem is square.

  3. Very good shots. We have fields full of that plant around here, but I don’t know what it is – it makes for an interesting photo shot though.

  4. Ahhh, that’s called “Heal All”, it is in the mint family and it’s Latin name is Prunella vulgaris. As it’s name indicates it’s an all around wonderful herb, but very invasive!

  5. Here in NW Ohio it’s called False Nettle. It’s a weed in our fields. I do like the maroon/purple shades though, even if it is a weed!
